Today, take a tour of our textile workshop, and watch the core manual yarn threading process before weaving.
Yarn threading, also known as warp drawing-in, is the most essential pre-weaving preparation process. The warped warp yarns will be threaded through three core accessories in sequence: drop wires, heddles and reed, in strict accordance with our factory’s technical standards.
This repetitive and meticulous manual work lays the foundation for fabric formation. Our senior skilled workers complete yarn separation, hooking and threading in one smooth motion. All yarns are arranged in strict order without hole skipping, position deviation or missing threading.
Never underestimate this basic process. The accuracy of yarn threading directly determines the fabric flatness and pattern definition, and dominates the overall weaving quality.
A single wrongly threaded or offset yarn will cause pattern disorder, horizontal streaks and warp skipping on the whole loom. Missing threading and wrong sequence cannot be repaired in the later stage, leading to large batches of grey fabric scrapping and serious material loss.
We adhere to refined manual yarn threading in our workshop. Compared with machine threading, manual operation makes it easier to detect defective yarns and finely adjust yarn tension.
