· Straps: Require high elasticity, anti-slip properties, and low pressure. Often feature adjustable and detachable designs.

By Material and Structure:
· Basic Elastic Webbing: Mostly made of spandex (Lycra) coated with nylon/polyester, it is the mainstream choice. Spandex provides elasticity (typically 15%-30% content), while the outer fibers offer strength and texture.
· Seamless (Invisible) Webbing: Utilizes special flat knitting or surface finishing techniques to smooth the edges, suitable for seamless underwear, invisible under clothing, and does not dig into the skin.
· Lace Elastic Webbing: Features lace patterns woven onto an elastic base, balancing aesthetics and functionality, often used in feminine-style designs.
· Sports-Specific Webbing: Emphasizes high strength, high elasticity, quick-drying, and anti-slip properties; usually wider, with more scientifically distributed pressure.
· Smart/Functional Webbing (Cutting-Edge Trend): Integrates phase-change materials (temperature regulation), antibacterial fibers, flexible sensors (monitoring pressure/heart rate), and other technological elements.

II. Key Technical Indicators
1. Elasticity and Resilience: The ability to return to its original shape after stretching. Low resilience can lead to underwear deformation and loosening.
2. Durability and Fatigue Resistance: The ability to maintain elasticity and shape stability after repeated stretching and washing.
3. Pressure Comfort: Achieved through scientifically designed pressure distribution via width, elastic modulus, and surface hardness.
4. Skin-Friendliness and Safety: Must be soft, breathable, non-irritating, and comply with environmental and skin safety standards (e.g., OEKO-TEX certification).
5. Processability: Must be easy to cut and sew, combine smoothly with the main underwear fabric, and not curl at the edges.

Although small in size, elastic underwear webbing is the "invisible backbone" of the underwear industry. It is evolving from a purely functional component into an innovative carrier integrating materials science, ergonomics, design aesthetics, and smart technology.
